Lead Teacher
I am the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 2 classroom. I enjoy having the ability to teach children how to be independent and grow, having love and trust with every child I've worked with, and being able to be a kid alongside them. I have worked with children for almost 20 years, and I've learned a lot from experience. I attended Baker College, with courses in Business and Psychology. I have completed all of my certifications for both Infant/Toddler and Preschool CDA, and I'm waiting to be observed.
I recently relocated from Indianapolis where I was the lead toddler teacher for a Christian center. I have been married for 20 years, and our only two babies are our dogs, Oakley and Kubota. (Yes, they are named after sunglasses and a tractor.) I really enjoy reading, the outdoors, playing Euchre (I'm originally from Michigan), loving my dogs, and gardening.
